Drive-By Press, http://www.drivebypress.org, has been invited by the printmaking guild as visiting artists to visit some classes and give demonstrations.

The art department will be offering courses this summer through the college of extended learning (CEL). Please go to the CEL website for information about registration and fees as it is different than the regular university, http://www.cel.sfsu.edu/summer/. All of the summer courses being offered in the art department through CEL are equivalent to courses taught during the fall and spring semester through the regular university. The Summer 2010 schedule is as follows:

Advising for the Spring 2010 semester begins the week of February 1st. Office hours are available under the faculty and staff are of the department website.

Students are required to see their faculty adviser at least twice a semester. This ensures that students are on the correct path toward graduation. An adviser is a full time faculty in your area of emphasis (painting, printmaking, sculpture, etc.) Dual Emphasis should see an adviser in each emphasis area.
