BreachDanielle Mysliwiec is an abstract painter and activist. She studied painting at Wesleyan University and went on to receive her MFA at Hunter College in New York City. While in New York, Mysliwiec co-founded a feminist performance group called Brainstormers, which challenges gender discrimination in the art world. The group has collaborated with the Guerrilla Girls and has performed at the Bronx Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and other venues around New York City.

In addition, Mysliwiec has taught at the School of Visual Arts, Hunter College, Yale University and Pace University. She joined the SF State faculty as an Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing in September 2008.
