Students wishing to declare a minor in art must fill out the add/change of major/minor form, available at http://www.sfsu.edu/~admisrec/reg/formstoc.html. Students need to see an art department faculty advisor to obtain their signature on the add/change of major/minor form before the form can be submitted to the department office for the chair's signature.
For students transferring from other institutions, a minimum of twelve units in residence is required.
- Art History (3 units must be upper division) 6 units
- Units selected from the 200-level studio courses 3 units
- Units of upper division electives 15 units
Total for Minor in Art: 24 units
