Deadline to be announced - The Christine Tamblyn Memorial Scholarship is given annually on the basis of merit as determined by the Art Department Scholarship Review Committee. At least $1000 is awarded and may be divided between two or more students. Funds are given after the 4th week census of the Fall Semester. Judgement of the Review Committee is final. We will begin accepting applications in the spring 2010 semester.

Eligibility:
- Full-time Undergraduate art major (12 unit min.) or Classified Graduate art major (9 unit min.)
- San Francisco State University, Art Department Student
- Enrolled in the Fall semester of the scholarship term
- Good academic standing
- Not a previous recipient of the Tamblyn Scholarship
Criteria:
- Creative work demonstrates commitment to interdisciplinary studio practice
- Academic excellence
- Demonstrated relationship between the student’s creative work and life, either on a personal or broader level.
Application Submission Materials:
- Documentation of interdisciplinary work: 10 slides in a carousel or 3 minutes of video/audio/cd/dvd.
- Scholarship Application form.
- 1 page detailing creative work submitted. (i.e. slide list, information about work submitted on video/audio/cd/dvd).
- 1 page statement on how you perceive your work to be “interdisciplinary.”
- 1 page of other written materials (i.e.. resume, show list, any other written information to support your application.).
- A copy of your Unofficial SFSU Transcript.
Submit 8 copies of all written materials.
