Paula Levine works across media and venues (print/video/installation/web) rooted in experimental narrative, conceptual art and cartography. Recent projects collapse distances between local and global exploring empathy through maps, GPS, locative and mobile media. She's exhibited in the U.S. and internationally; is in private collections and the National Gallery of Canada, with publications in Leonardo, n.paradoxa and The Mobile Story (2013: Routledge). Her art degrees are from Emily Carr University, Vancouver, BC and the San Francisco Art Institute.
